Megan Edmunds and Daniela Ramirez joins Campus Security as Project Coordinators

 

Megan Edmunds is a project management and operations professional with over four years of experience in public service and education settings. Her previous roles include Program Developer with the Greater Victoria Public Library and Operations Manager at Campus Support, where she was proud to be the lead Project Manager on an app utilized by over 20,000 students across Canada to improve their education experience. With a people-centered approach and a personal philosophy to foster community well-being, Megan specializes in project planning and delivery, stakeholder management, and training development. Having just returned home to Vancouver after living and hiking in New Zealand for six months, Megan is thrilled to be joining the UBC team in bringing a world-class education experience to students. 

 

Daniela Ramirez is joining the Campus Security team as a Project Coordinator, after acquiring two years of experience in the physical security field. Prior to joining UBC, Daniela worked on managing and crafting contract security proposals at Blackbird Security, which have informed her knowledge of security programs across various industries. She has been recognized for the successful award of notable public and private-sector contracts including municipalities, provincial ministries, and national retailers seeking security services. Daniela also proudly holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from UBC that she obtained after four years of living right on campus. She is excited to return to the University in a staff capacity and contribute to safety and security programs for the campus community.
