Please join us in welcoming Hailey Maxwell back from her maternity leave and into her new role as Manager, Emergency Management & Continuity Planning in Emergency Management within Safety & Risk Services.
Hailey has over ten years of experience in a variety of risk management, emergency management and continuity planning roles, with the past five with UBC’s Emergency Management Team. In her new role as Manager of Emergency & Continuity Planning, Hailey looks forward to continuing to support the UBC community in developing personal and organizational resilience through planning, training and engagement initiatives.
Hailey has a Masters of Arts in Political Science, focusing on Emergency Management and Security Studies from Simon Fraser University, and is working towards a Certified Emergency Manager designation through the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM).
