In support of UBC’s United Way fundraising campaign, members of the SRS team competed in a pumpkin carving contest with a suggested donation as an entry fee.
The competition was fierce, with some artistic designs submitted from across the department. Mardi Henderson was crowned the winner for her collection of spooky carvings and received a bag of candy as a prize.
A big thank you to those that took part and donated. SRS have more fundraising activity planned before the end of the year to support United Way, so keep an eye out for how to get involved.
