We are pleased to welcome Steve MacGregor as the Manager, PIA Operations and Engagement joining UBC’s Privacy and Information Security Management (PrISM) in Safety & Risk Services. In this new role, Steve will be primarily responsible for the successful operational delivery and management of Privacy Impact Assessments and related services.
Steve comes to us from Simon Fraser University where he was instrumental in ensuring that SFU had proper controls and processes in place to meet their regulatory requirements including the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA). His background includes a wide breadth of experience in information technology, ranging from software engineering, systems analysis, project management, and information governance, to risk & compliance.
