VCH Vaccination site opens at Pharmaceutical Sciences Building

** UPDATE [July 28, 2021] **
The vaccination site at UBC Pharmaceutical Sciences Building is closing on Friday, July 30.

Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is standing up vaccination clinic sites across Vancouver, Richmond and Coastal Urban and Rural, to minimize travel for people to get to a clinic close to where they live.

UBC has entered an agreement with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH), enabling them the use of Pharmaceutical Sciences Building (PharmSci) to host a vaccination site for administering COVID-19 vaccines to eligible members of the public, based on specific phases of B.C.’s COVID-19 Immunization Plan.

The vaccination site in PharmSci will run from March 29 through to August 2021, and demobilize for the start of 2021/22 Winter Session, Term 1, so that academic activities planned for the building are not disrupted.

VCH will manage all bookings, with appointment times running daily from 9:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. The site will be open to the community starting Monday, March 29, 2021. Please note: this clinic is not being operated by the UBC Pharmacists Clinic.
